Have always been fascinated by the night sky.

It may seem easy to just point your camera at the sky and capture an image of it, but believe me it’s not always that effortless.

You need Low light pollution and clear nights.

The number of clear nights seem very rare.

something you're not entirely aware of until you start doing something like this.

Astrophotography has a reputation for being a bottomless pit, and so it is. As your experience grows, and your images improve, you'll always be able to find a bit of kit that will improve your images further. Unfortunately, they don't give this stuff away for nothing.

Endless patience is the key and yes you can do this without spending a fortune

I wish I had more time to devote to this stuff, and more clear skies..

The limits of the possible can only be defined by going beyond them into the impossible.
